San Pedro Chiropractor: Dr. Larry Langdon
My Parents Believed in Chiropractic
I experienced chiropractic at a very early age being fortunate enough that growing up in Iowa our next door neighbor was a chiropractor (Dr Collins). My parents believed that chiropractic care was important for us to maintain our health and I can remember as a young child that at the first symptom of a cold or fever, they took me next door for my chiropractic adjustment. After moving to New Mexico as a teenager, I continued care due to the fact that I was very active in basketball and golf. Upon graduation from high school, I was offered a basketball scholarship to the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic.
I Knew My Life's Mission
It was at Palmer College that I learned “why” my parents felt chiropractic was so important for our family. I learned that the body is self-healing and self-regulating. That the nervous system controls and coordinates all of the functions of the body and any interference with the nervous system inhibits the body’s ability to regulate and heal itself. This philosophy resonated so deeply with me that I knew that my life’s mission was to share with as many people as possible the benefits of a chiropractic wellness lifestyle and to help them achieve their wellness goals.
The Golden Rule
I, along with my staff believe that our patients should be treated like we would like to be treated and the comment we hear most often from our patients is that we are a very thorough and caring office. I derive great satisfaction from treating patients of all ages and in particular children as it brings back those early childhood memories of getting my chiropractic adjustments.
